4K Class

To enroll in Loving Hands Preschool 4 year-old PreK program children must be 4 years old before Sept. 1 of the current school year. Children must also be toilet-trained.

Loving Hands 4 year-old program is designed to prepare children for Kindergarten. Emphasis is placed on the following areas:

Speech and Language
Identifying letters, rhyming, opposites, story telling, handwriting, etc...
Small and Large Motor Skills
Cutting, coloring, running, jumping, ball skills, etc...
Math Concepts
Shapes, counting, coloring, number recognition, etc...
Social Skills
Cooperative play, manners, following simple directions, etc...

Each child's skills are developed by using hands-on learning centers, field trips, games, songs, and stories planned in conjunction with monthly themes.

Each class begins and ends with a prayer to remind the children that Jesus is our friend.

4 year-old classes are Monday-Friday, 12:15-3:00 PM.
